After stunning the realty world with its audacious move to buy a plum 6-acre plot of land in Wadala for a record Rs 4,053 crore, Lodha Developers are all poised to scale even greater heights, literally. The realty major has just announced the launch of World One, the tallest residential tower in the world that would soar to a dizzying height with 300 exclusive luxury apartments spread over 117 stories, easily dwarfing Queensland One, its current rival in Australia.
Unveiling the iconic World One project, Abisheck Lodha, Managing Director, Lodha Developers, said , “Every global city has its memorable architectural landmarks. With World One, we will create well-deserved icon the city has ever seen.”
Targeted at the country’s new rich World One will be built over a 17-acre Lodha Place in Upper Worli, Central Mumbai. The super high rise, ultra modern edifice will have uber luxury apartments, exclusive duplex mansions and penthouses whose price will range from a jaw-dropping Rs. 7.5 crore to Rs 50 crore.
At over 1450 feet, World One is also the first Gold LEED certified residential tower in India. Designed by US-based architectural firm, Pei Cobb Freed and Partners and Leslie E Robertson Associates, iconic India One will dwarf Q1 metres by at least 170 metres.
